Iranian Journal of Psycho-educational Assessment

Aims and Scope

Iranian Journal of Psycho-Educational Assessment is a biannual publication of the University of Zanjan, published in Persian with extended abstracts in English. The journal aims to advance knowledge in the fields of Psychometrics, measurement, assessment, and educational and psychological evaluation, and welcomes original research and review articles by faculty members, researchers, and students. All submitted manuscripts must be uploaded through the journal’s online system for processing and review. Initially, each submission is evaluated by the technical team for formatting and structural compliance and then forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief to assess its topical relevance. If approved in the preliminary stage, the manuscript is sent to at least two expert reviewers for a confidential double-blind peer review. Final acceptance and publication are subject to the reviewers’ approval.

The journal exclusively publishes articles relevant to the field of psychometrics, categorized in the following four areas:

1.    Design and development of new measurement instruments;

2.    Psychometric evaluation of internationally established tools within new linguistic and cultural contexts;

3.    Analysis of existing assessment instruments using innovative psychometric approaches;

4.    Introduction of new methods and approaches in educational and psychological assessment, including critical evaluation of current practices.
